Bike route planner for iPhone · NL + BE

Plan loops.
Ride hard.

Choose how far or how long you want to ride. KOERS plans a loop from your front door, along the cycle junctions or free, adds a workout if you like and sends it to your bike computer.

A workout on your loop

Let Autokoers choose, or pick one yourself: recovery, endurance, tempo, sweetspot, threshold, VO2max, cadence, sprints or an FTP test. KOERS fits the workout to the time you have and puts the hard blocks on quiet, straight stretches: off cobbles, out of town centres, and just after a turn.

  • Autokoers picks what makes you strongest each day: hard when you're fresh, easy after a hard day. Nail a workout and the next one is a notch harder.
  • The loop and workout go to your bike computer together, which follows the blocks by power and heart rate.
  • No power meter? Then you ride by heart rate, and it all works just as well.
  • On your Apple Watch you start the workout right away.

After the ride

Your score, and zones that keep up

After your ride KOERS fetches it from your bike computer and lays it onto your loop. For every block you see your average next to the target, and a score from 0 to 100.

  • Rode 20 minutes harder than your FTP suggests, or blocks well above target? Then KOERS adjusts your FTP and threshold heart rate. Without a power meter it goes by your heart rate and how the ride felt.
  • You see what KOERS looked at, what changed, and what it would take to change it. Undo takes one tap.
  • Only the outcome stays on your phone. Not the track of your ride.

A 3D polder: a loop on asphalt, a yellow effort block along the dike, a windmill and junction 53.
The hard block along the dike, where it's quiet and straight: that's how KOERS puts a workout on your loop.

How that works
Questions

Quickly

What does KOERS cost?

Nothing. KOERS is free, without ads and without an account.

Does it work outside the Netherlands?

Junction loops work in the Netherlands and Belgium, and just across the border. A free loop works wherever Apple Maps has cycling directions.

Do I need a power meter?

No. Without a power meter you ride the workout by heart rate. KOERS scores your blocks on heart rate and tunes your threshold from your heart rate and how the ride felt. The FTP test works with just a heart rate monitor too.
